Allie, aka “Allie Jo” has gone above and beyond anything we could’ve ever dreamed possible. At only 1 yr. of age Allie was the #8 GWP. Being our first GWP and first show dog, she’s taken us for quite a ride.
She’s won multiple groups and swept BOB’s against top ranked specials including BOB and Group 1 at GWPCA National in 2006. She’s a beautiful specimen of the breed. Allie has dark liver pigment, harsh wiry coat, correct angles, solid topline, and has flawless movement.
She enjoys hunting with Bill more than anything in the world. Allie has just earned her Master Hunter title and is done with the beauty contests. She is the first and only dog her in pedigree to earn a hunting title, let alone a Master Hunter. Allie also earned a NAVHDA Utility Prize III, she had a good day, but isn’t a dog with enough independence and drive to put on a duck search better than a Prize III level.
Allie was spayed in Nov. 2007 because she has epileptic seizures. With a proven genetic background of epilepsy, we chose not to breed her, we wouldn’t wish this onto anyone to have to go through. It’s unfortunate that this beautiful, talented bitch won’t be able to contribute to the future of the breed.
