Angus exemplifies the Bracco Italiano! A dog that has been bred for purpose and fit to function, his correct structure and natural ‘flying trot’ keeps him going all day in the field, day after day. At only 12 months old, Angus attended the Bracco Italiano Club of America National Specialty and earned Best Puppy, Winner’s Dog, and National Best of Opposite Sex. A month later earned a maximum score of 112 points in his NAVHDA Natural Ability test. Most recently he ran in the NAVHDA Utility Test and earned a Prize II with 195 points.
Angus has hunted extensively on Ruffed Grouse, Dusky Grouse, Pheasant, Sharp-tailed Grouse, Sage Grouse, Chukar and Huns. His keen desire and grit to get deep into dense cover and cold water has surpassed what we expected of the breed.
He is an absolute pleasure to live with in the house with his clown-like demeanor that keeps the kids entertained, yet ready for cuddles at anytime. We look forward to watching his progeny develop!
