Karmin is every breeder and owner’s dream! She arrived in the US at 10 weeks old, and never fails to amaze us with her field abilities. Only 2 months after her arrival, she was covering and working fields like an adult. We put her in a NAVHDA NA test at only 4 months old, and she received a perfect score with comments from judges saying they’d never seen a puppy with her abilities at such an early age. When she turned 6 months old, she joined us in northern WI for a month of grouse hunting. We had hoped to shoot at least 1 grouse over her at that age, but again she outdid herself and had over 15 grouse pointed and shot over her. Karmin ran her first field trial at 10 months old and took 1st place in the Puppy stake and 2nd place in the Derby stake to earn her first 2 field trial points. She completed her AKC Senior Hunter at 16 months old, and her Master Hunter at just barely 3 years old on same weekends as winning 2 Open Gun Dog field trial placements, and a month later she finished her dual champion! Karmin is a beauty with a fantastic temperament, she’s truly a very special, talented girl. We are excited about the future of our little “Fudge Brownie”!
